Trek and Luxembourg Pro Cycling Team Project Join Forces

(Waterloo, WI USA : Luxembourg City, Luxembourg) - Trek Bicycle and The Luxembourg Pro Cycling Team Project have signed a long-term partnership agreement, announced today at Eurobike by Trek and Brian Nygaard of the Luxembourg Team. The new team, featuring brothers Frank and Andy Schleck, will be part of the Trek Family for 2011 and beyond.

The Niles crew enjoyed our first group ride of the season this week. With daytime temps reaching high into the sixties, we were treated to a very pleasant ride. Our group was 11 strong, not bad for March! Contact the shop/s for details on upcoming road and mountain bike rides.

We regret to report that this year's event has been cancelled by the promoter. We have been informed by the race promoter that all pre-entry funds will be refunded by check.

Thank you for participating in the inaugural Frigid Five (k)!   We had 102 participants!  Since we were only expecting 50 runners, we apologize to those that did not get bibs.  Next year we will be prepared for more runners.

Come join the1st annual Frigid Five (k) on January 16th in Niles, MI.  Cycle and Fitness is sponsoring this chilly 5K running race, which is held during the Hunter Ice Festival in Niles.  The course will take runners by the downtown ice sculptures and follow the river path along the St. Joseph River.  Awards will be given to top three runners in each age group and overall winners will receive awards and prizes.  Swag will also be randomly gifted after the race!  Bring the family and experience the incredible ice sculptures after the race!

We packed our bags with bike shoes, pedals and our helmets for a few days off in the desert. We flew west in search of adventurous bike rides and new products for 2010.

1. Thanks to everyone who attended the Trek and Gary Fisher Road Bike Demo. We had a great turnout and a good time riding the 2010 bikes. If you were unable to attend we rode the new Trek Madone, Gary Fisher Cronus and new Aeolus deep section wheels. Cycle and Fitness provided food and drinks along with riding tips for the new cyclists.
